A 21st-century Google blotter.

In December 2007, The Dallas Morning News put InteloQuence’s crime-mapping website on its front page. Built with the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, the site published Dallas Police Department crime data every day and let users map it by ZIP code, crime category and date.

Police Chief David Kunkle introduced the site at its launch news conference.

“This is not just a police blotter; this is a 21st-century Google blotter.”

Business Ledger Techlink, September 2003: New Web System Can Build Client Prospects
Lead generation · 2003

Lead capture before it was a category.

Long before “lead-generation website” was a service line, InteloQuence built InteloSoft: web-based software that recorded what each visitor did, from downloading a brochure to asking for a salesperson, then routed qualified prospects to the right distributor.

The same idea drives the lead-generation websites Appture Digital Media builds today: spot real interest, capture it and get it to sales fast.

  • Visitor interests and downloads tracked on the website
  • Prospects matched to the right distributor
  • Calendar follow-up and instant email alerts
  • Website activity connected to inbound phone calls

When DreamWorks moved into the studio.

In 2001, DreamWorks chose the InteloQuence studio in Geneva, Illinois, as a location for Road to Perdition, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Tom Hanks, Paul Newman and Jude Law.

The team turned the moment into marketing: a live website documenting the filming for fans and neighbors, covered by the Daily Herald, The Courier News and The Geneva Republican.

“We had an 800 percent increase in Web traffic just this week on an undeveloped site.”
